Privacy Policy

CreatorKit Pro (https://creatorkit.pro) is run by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: support@creatorkit.pro. We're the controller of the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR).
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a securely hashed password - or, if you log in with X, your X username and account ID.
- Your API keys for AI providers, which you add in Settings - stored on our server and used only for your videos.
- Your content: video ideas, scripts, pictures, narration, music, videos, thumbnails, templates and anything you upload.
- Usage and costs: which features you use and when, and a log of the AI calls made for you and what they cost - so we can show you your costs, keep the service working and improve it.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We get your plan status and Stripe customer reference, not your card details.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details in our server logs, for security and fixing problems.
Why we use it (and our legal basis)
- To provide CreatorKit Pro to you - make your videos, keep your account, take payments (contract).
- To keep it secure, prevent abuse, fix problems and improve it (legitimate interests).
- To keep records we must keep, such as payment records (legal obligation).
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- The AI providers you connect (such as OpenRouter, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, fal.ai, Vivix) receive the prompts, text, pictures and audio needed to make your videos, under your own account with them and their privacy policies. Some of them are based outside the UK, including in the United States.
- Stripe, for payments. X, if you choose to log in with X.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server where your account and files are stored.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Where data goes outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK law provides for such transfers.
How long we keep it
- Your videos and their files stay until you delete them (deleting a video removes its files from our server), or until your account is deleted.
- Your account data stays while you have an account. Usage and cost records may be kept longer for accounting and security; payment records for as long as the law requires (normally 6 years).
- Server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. If you arrive through a partner's referral link, a second cookie remembers which partner sent you for 60 days, so they can be credited if you sign up; we count that visit using a one-way code made from your connection details that changes every day - we don't store your IP address for it. The app also saves a few preferences in your browser (such as light or dark mode). We don't use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. Email support@creatorkit.pro. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
CreatorKit Pro isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's data.
Changes
We'll update this page if how we use data changes, and show the date at the top.
